Current Opportunities
Title: Senior Power Systems Engineer
Qualifications: The candidate will be providing electrical engineering design services for facilities, industrial plants, and water and wastewater facilities. Individual will work individually with Chief Engineer providing guidance, supervision.
- Electrical Design
- Extensive background in electrical design of facilities and/or design of water and wastewater utility facilities
- Utility coordination
- Electric power distribution design and standby power generation
- Construction management duties including shop drawing review, Inspections, as-built reviews and Manual reviews
If the candidate possesses Controls experience inc. SCADA and P&ID it is a PLUS.
Must have:
- PE license (or plans to get a PE)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage client contact and coordination of electrical projects
Nice to have:
- Instrumentation and Controls experience
Title: Electrical Substation Design Engineer
Responsiblities:
- Use your expertise in high voltage substation design to lead multiple design projects from inception through construction
- Designing of Substations, (substation layout, grounding, conduit, relay and control houses, one/three lines, schematics, and writing diagrams, connection diagrams, auxiliary power), and equipment & construction specifications, and all associated electrical calculations and studies
Required Experience:
- Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering, P.E. preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in the design of substations
- PE license preferred
